Mighty Nigel Hawkes - May Lapis Lazuli Yarn Society

Welcome to the Lapis Lazuli Yarn Society, with new colorways releasing each month inspired by The Unselected Journals of Emma M Lion by Beth Brower.

Hawkes, known as Mighty Nigel Hawkers by his reprobate chums, is the local vicar/boxing champion and one of Emma’s strongest allies. He’s enigmatic in all the best ways and we definitely have surprises in store for us where he is concerned. This pale golden-green colorway (paired with the emerald green mini if you choose a sock set) is only available in May.

Available as a single skein or sock set with coordinating mini skein in either Biography Sock or Classic Dk.

Care Instructions: hand wash with gentle wool cleanser, lay flat to dry

Yarnbrary yarns are hand dyed using professional acid dyes. I work hard to capture the colors as true-to-life as possible, but due to the differences in devices, your screen may show the colors a little differently.

Each skein, even in the same colorway, is slightly different. If your project requires more than one skein, you may want to alternate skeins to get a more uniform look.

Yarnbrary yarns are all rinsed well to make sure the water runs clear. But despite that, there is the possibility of bleeding during the first few washes.
