The single-ply Malabrigo Worsted yarn provides excellent stitch definition that really shows off your work.
Yarn: 4 skeins Malabrigo Worsted, or 840 yards aran weight yarn. Works up beautifully in single ply.
Needle: US 10 with 40 inch cable.
Gauge: 13 stitches by 27 rows in 4 inches, blocked. Gauge is not terribly important but if it’s different, it may change the size of your finished shawl or require different amounts of yarn.
Finished measurements: 96 inches wide by 34 inches at deepest point.
